Life University Leadership Weekend - Juan Garcia
Hello, my name is Juan Garcia, and I was one of the individuals chosen to take the opportunity to go to Atlanta, Georgia. First of all, I want to thank all the chaperones: Rick Godina, Mrs. Ramirez, Yuki Longest, Hugo Mendoza, and, of course, Luis Caloca for inviting me on this trip to Life University, and Dr. Javier del Hoyo for recommending us to go. It was really interesting and motivating. I met many chiropractors on my first day on campus who spoke to us about why they chose to be chiropractors and what made them fall in love with their careers. It was really fun, and I met many great people and friends from different places as well.
On the second day of our trip, we went to the biggest aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia. I loved it. There were lots of people, and as I said, it was big, and I really enjoyed being there. After that, we went back to Life University and did some activities with the mentors. I can say that I learned a lot from those activities and will never forget them. It was a great experience. Again, thank you so much for letting me come on this trip and giving me the opportunity. It really helped me. Many doctors opened up to us and told us their life stories and how they got to where they wanted to be. It would be a great school for someone who would love to be a chiropractor or pursue any other type of medical career.
Thank you again to my team, FHLA, and especially to Luis Caloca for this trip. As I said, it really helped me and opened my eyes to becoming a chiropractor. We also met the president of Kenya. They are really nice people, and the whole group took pictures with the president and his wife. As I mentioned, I met many new people. It was really fun getting to know them and going on this trip. It was really enjoyable and entertaining, with a lot of learning that opened my eyes to becoming a chiropractor. I hope to go on this trip next year, experience more, learn more, and again, thank you for this opportunity, Rick Godina, Yuki Longest, Mrs. Ramirez, Dr. Javier del Hoyo, and, of course, Luis Caloca.
